2020 Season Update
Updated 20 October 2020
Maitland Repertory Theatre is still closed for performances for the time being.
With the recent easing of restrictions the theatre has been able to make some decisions (at last!). The recent announcement by NSW Health of the easing of capacity limits for venues means that we can have an audience of 75 in our theatre with COVID safe procedures in place. As a result we'll be making announcements in the next week about an upcoming play in December and our 2021 Season.
To our Season Ticket Holders
We appreciate everyone's patience and now that we can see a way ahead to getting back to performing we'll be extending the expiry dates of all 2020 Season Ticket holders to the end of 2021 and giving Season Ticket holders access to a bonus upcoming play (A Doll's House directed by Nicholas Thoroughgood) scheduled for December 2020.
Other Happenings
While theatre performances have been on hold, we've been busy:
- Acting classes have been continuing thanks to the dedicated work of our tutors
- Reamus Youth Theatre has been rehearsing for filming Twelfth Night
- Occasional play readings for members have been held via Zoom
- Renovations and improvements are being worked on
Stay tuned to our facebook, emails and website and we’ll keep you posted once we know when we can recommence operations and reschedule performances.
Thank you for your understanding. We hope that you are finding a way through this difficult time.
