Maitland Repertory Theatre Acting Classes

Maitland Repertory Theatre Acting Classes provide four terms of inclusive classes each year for ages 6-18 that are focussed on developing skills, confidence and creativity. Classes are held at our theatre at 244 High Street, Maitland.

During the year we hold various events, such as showcases and improvisation tournaments, to highlight the work being done by our students. We also work towards a large-scale production every year. Past shows include Robin Hood and His Merry Men (2025), Game of Tiaras (2024), Dorothy in Wonderland (2023), Stuart Little (2022), Snow White (2019), Peter Pan (2017) and Cinderella (2016).

Fees

Ages 9 to 18 - $180 per term and $155 for additional children from the same family
Ages 6 to 8 - $140 per term

We are a Creative Kids provider and vouchers can be used to cover some of your fees.

Early Withdrawal Policy

If you’re uncertain about joining our classes, that's okay! Students can attend up to 3 weeks of classes and, if you choose to withdraw within that 3 week period, may receive a refund less $20 per class attended. (New enrolments are taken on a first in, first served basis until classes are full).

How to Enrol

Enrolment can be completed either in person or online.

In Person

Term 1, 2026 - January 17th, 12pm to 3pm at the theatre (244 High Street, Maitland).
