There are two dates set for auditions:
Tuesday 17 February 2026 from 7pm – book your audition time here.
Thursday 19 February 2026 from 7pm– Call backs and group work.

Rehearsals will commence in early March 2026.
Membership: Successful auditionees will need to become members of Maitland Repertory Theatre Inc. which involves a nominal annual membership subscription of $5 or $10.

About the Play
An Unseasonable Fall of Snow is a psychological thriller set in Wellington NZ in the 1990's. Both characters are locked in an intense psychological battle where identities and power are fluid. The play is an intriguing study that demands compelling and precision performances from both actors who must navigate the script's razor-sharp changes in hierarchy.
Character Descriptions
Arthur - male 55-65 years
Confident, controlling, intimidating. Self disciplined with an unpredictable fire capable of assault. His suppressed emotions surface throughout the play, displaying the layers and depth of his personality.
Liam - male 20-30 years
Insecure, anxious, defensive. His personality is shaped with an emotional vulnerability. An inner confidence and strength is drawn out and surfaces at the end of the play.
